The very first release of 2012 was missing the update.exe file. If you downloaded before 1/10/2012 you may be missing it.

Please download the newest version:
www.mdppt.com/download2012/mdpptpro2012.exe

Install over top your original 2012 installation and you will then have the missing update.exe
